For two decades, high-ranking elected officials, state-level Cabinet directors, non-profit executives, and business leaders have trusted Mike Raia to help them tell their stories and manage their public reputations.

Mike served as Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo’s most senior communications and public relations advisor through her first term in office and helped craft and execute the strategy that made her the first Rhode Island Democratic Governor in a quarter century to win reelection. Before joining Raimondo’s senior staff, Mike held the top communications posts at the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health & Human Services, for the Mayor of Providence, at the Maryland Labor Department, and for the Lt. Governor of Maryland.

Since leaving government shortly after Raimondo was sworn in for her second term, Mike has coached senior leaders across a range of industries and served as a member of the executive cabinet at a U.S. News & World Report ranked university.

Mike grew up in suburban Washington, DC and currently lives in Barrington, Rhode Island with his wife and two kids where he coaches and serves on as the Vice President of the local Little League. He graduated from Providence College and has a Master’s degree from the George Washington University
